Mission Impossible

Jonah: God’s Call to All

Mission Impossible

Jonah 3:1-5

We, like Jonah, have a tendency to run from God’s plans. Has He made a mistake? Did He really call me? Is this really His plan? Are we actually capable? Am I ready?

  1. God doesn’t call us to trust out plans; He calls us to trust His.
  2. God doesn’t call the able; He enables the called.

Who’s My Neighbor

Have you ever needed someone to stop for you? Has there ever been a time in your life when you needed someone to be merciful toward you? 2. The humanity of Lazarus

The Parable of the Unforgiving Servant

Parables: Truths About God’s Kingdom

The Parable of the Unforgiving Servant

Matthew 18: 21-35, Genesis 4: 23-24

With this parable Jesus teaches about the reality of the debt of our sin and forgiveness. Grasping how much God has forgiven us allows us to have a forgiving heart toward others.

  • An Unforgiving Heart
  • A Forgiving Heart
  • What forgiveness really is
    • Forgiveness means: giving up the right to seek repayment from the one who harmed you.
    • Someone always pays, on every debt.
