This week we learn that we all long for one true love and look for love apart from God. Listen and learn as Pastor Steve teaches us about the desire for one true love, the disillusionment of one true love, and the fulfillment of one true love.
As the New Year begins, we are reminded that we are worse than we think but God’s grace is greater than we can imagine. Our identity is in Christ Jesus, not in our successes or failures. Our sins do not define us. God’s plan is much bigger than we think and His grace is perfected in our weaknesses.
Sin makes the heart harder and harder over time in both individuals and society. In this passage, the heart of mankind is beyond self-help and God is about to intervene with judgement but Noah found favor (or Grace) in the eyes of the Lord.

- Interior Nature of Sin
- Content of Sin
- Grievousness of Sin (Romans 3:23)
- Universality of Sin
Conclusion: We cannot save ourselves. Salvation comes from the Lord and He will keep his promise.
As we continue our study through Genesis, Steve Resch teaches us that the ruin of culture and society comes from refusing to repent, building a culture without following God, and making a name for ourselves. In order to build and create a healthy culture and society we need to give glory and honor to God.
